Coffee Brownies for Two

Ingredients

  • Brownie
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 6 Tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 Tablespoon butter melted and cooled
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup pecans chopped *optional
  • Glaze
  • 3 Tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon instant coffee
  • 2 teaspoon coffee creamer I use Hazelnut

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Combine flour, cocoa powder, salt, instant coffee, granulated sugar in a bowl and set aside.
  • Whisk butter and egg in a separate bowl. Add vanilla extract.
  • Add butter mixture to dry ingredient an stir until combined. Add pecans and stir until incorporated.
  • Scrape into small loaf pan and spread evenly. Place in oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  • Meanwhile, make glaze by combining powdered sugar, instant coffee, and coffee creamer. Pour glaze over brownies. Enjoy :)
