Oven Baked Rice

An all-around delicious and easy recipe. Not only is oven-baked rice taste great fresh, but it can also be made ahead of time for fried rice.

- Long grain white rice - Hot water - Unsalted butter - Kosher salt

INGREDIENTS

Rinse the rice until the water runs clear.

Step 1

Place into a 2-quart baking dish or dutch oven with a tightly fitted lid. Add the hot water, butter, and salt to the baking dish until combined.

Step 2

Cover with the lid of the dutch oven and bake in the oven.

Step 3

Remove from the oven and allow to rest covered for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, open the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.
