One of the easiest ways to cook hot dogs is in the oven. My Oven-Baked Hot Dogs recipe is quick and easy to prepare, simply place the hot dogs into the hot oven, while you get on with preparing your favorite hot dog toppings.

Ingredients

  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • optional toppings see notes below for suggestions

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Arrange the hot dogs in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the hot dogs in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until heated through and lightly browned.
  • Remove the hot dogs from the oven and place them in hot dog buns. Remove from the oven and add your desired toppings, such as ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, or cheese.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

I recommend lining the baking sheet with baking parchment to stop the hot dogs from sticking.
