Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Hennessey
  • 1 ounce Pecan liqueur
  • ½ ounce Baileys Irish Cream
  • ½ ounce Simple syrup

For rimming the glass:

Instructions

  • Begin by preparing the glass: On a small plate, spread a layer of brown sugar and crushed pecans. Take the rim of your martini glass and dip it in a little bit of simple syrup and then into the brown sugar and crushed pecans, coating the rim. Set the glass aside.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine Hennessey, Pecan liqueur, Baileys Irish Cream, and simple syrup. Add a handful of ice cubes to the shaker.
  • Close the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, allowing the ingredients to mix and chill.
  • Grab your prepared martini glass and strain the cocktail into it, careful not to disturb the rim. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • A martini typically contains gin or vodka. We subbed that for a cognac. If using vodka, go for a sweeter kind, like whipped cream or vanilla.
