Ingredients

  • 12 count slider buns like Hawaiian rolls
  • 14 oz deli roast beef ultra-thin sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños from a jar and drained
  • 2 oz pepper jack cheese extra thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp prepared horseradish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray or line it with foil paper. Set aside.
  • Take rolls and use a bread knife to slice the rolls in half, separating the tops from the bottoms. Place the bottom layer of rolls in the prepared baking dish. Layer the thinly sliced roast beef evenly over the bottom halves of the buns. Sprinkle the jalapenos over the roast beef. Lay the pepper jack cheese over the jalapenos and roast beef.
  • In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and horseradish. Spread this mixture over the bottom of the top halves of the slider buns. Place the top halves of the slider buns on top of the cheese.
  • Cover the baking pan and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese has melted. Remove from oven and remove the foil. Use a knife to cut the sliders apart before serving.
  • Serve as is or with an au jus sauce.

Notes

  • If you prefer crispier sliders, spread melted butter on top of the sliders and bake uncovered for 15 minutes.
  • Using extra thin sliced cheese and deli meat will work best in these sliders. The extra thin slices will melt better in the oven.
