Ingredients

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes cut into wedges
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Place the sweet potatoes in a large bowl and toss them with the olive oil.
  • In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cinnamon, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  • Pour the spice mixture into the bowl with the sweet potatoes and toss to coat.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Air fry for 14 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking time. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Cut the sweet potato wedges as evenly as possible.
  • To make sweet potato fries, cut them thinner and you may need to reduce the cooking time slightly.
  • Leftovers will keep well for 3 days covered in the fridge. Reheat them at 400F for 3 to 5 minutes to crisp them back up.
