Homemade Air Fryer Croutons

Ingredients

  • 1 small loaf French bread cut into 1 inch cubes, about 4 cups
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer basket to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Place cut bread pieces into a large bowl. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, whisk olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt until combined.
  • Pour the olive oil mixture over the bread pieces and stir with a spatula, ensuring all the pieces get covered by the olive oil.
  • Place the bread in the preheated air fryer in a single layer and air fry for 6-8 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove and serve

Notes

  • Store croutons in an airtight container at room temperature. They will last for up to 2 weeks.
  • I like to make these with olive oil, but vegetable, canola or avocado will all work well.
  • Try mixing up the seasonings. Most dried herbs and spices will work great so have fun experimenting!
  • Let cool before storing or enjoy right away.
