Whisk together all the ingredients in a medium saucepan until well combined and smooth.
Set the saucepan over medium heat and allow the sauce to come to a slight simmer, stirring occasionally to ensure it doesn't burn or stick to the bottom of the pan. Cook for approximately 5 minutes.
After cooking, remove the saucepan from the heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature. Serve with your favorite BBQ, try it with pulled pork or chicken wings.
Notes
Transfer the sauce to a clean jar or a squeezable bottle. Store it in the refrigerator, it will keep for 2-3 weeks if stored properly.
