Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 yellow onion chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves chopped
  • 16 Oz okra fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup frozen corn kernels
  • 14.5 oz canned diced tomatoes undrained
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ¾ cup vegetable broth
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce

Instructions

  • Heat canola oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and cook until softened and translucent, for about 10 minutes.
  • Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the Bay leave before serving. Serve and enjoy :)
