Equipment

Small bowl
Measuring spoons
Knife
Baking Sheet

Ingredients

4 tablespoon unsalted butter softened
2 tablespoon cinnamon sugar
4 slices sandwich bread

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix unsalted butter and cinnamon sugar in a small bowl and stir until incorporated.
Spread about 1 Tablespoon of the cinnamon butter on one side of each slice of bread. Place the bread on a baking sheet in a single layer, buttered side up.
Bake in the preheated oven for 9-10 minutes, until the bread is toasted and the sugar is caramelized.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for 1-2 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

To ensure easy spreading and better blending with cinnamon sugar, use softened butter. Soften butter by leaving it at room temperature for about 1-2 hours before use.
We tend to eat 1 slice of toast with our meal, but feel free to eat 2 per person.
If you don’t have premade cinnamon sugar, add 2 Tablespoons of white granulated sugar and ½ Tablespoon cinnamon to the butter.
