Ingredients
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 Tablespoon sweet relish
- ½ Tablespoon paprika
- 2 Tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon creole seasoning
- 1 teaspoon horseradish
- 1 clove garlic grated
Instructions
- Grate the garlic clove on a microplane or the small holes of a box grater.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Add the relish, horseradish, hot sauce, Creole seasoning, paprika, and garlic. Whisk until the color is even.
- Taste and adjust with more lemon juice or hot sauce if you like. Serve right away, or cover and refrigerate.
Notes
- Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
- Use prepared horseradish, not horseradish sauce.
- Taste before adding salt. Most Creole seasonings are already salty.
- For a spicier sauce, add a pinch of cayenne or more hot sauce.
- Store covered in the fridge for up to 1 week. Do not freeze.
