There’s is nothing like a good nice juicy piece of pork. There’s also nothing like a dry overcooked piece of pork too, yuck. Lucky for me, I don’t make dry pork anymore because my Air Fryer ensures my pork comes out nice and juicy each and every time. Thanks Air Fryer!

Now about this beautiful mustard glazed air fryer pork, it’s so darn good. My husband and I fell in love with pork tenderloin when we had it over a salad at a local restaurant. We tried many different coating for our tenderloin but fell in love with this mustard glaze. It’s so flavorful and complements the pork well.

The glaze goes well with any cut of pork, from pork chops, pork loin, and pork tenderloin.

Pork Tenderloin vs. Pork Loin?

For this recipe, I used a pork tenderloin, not to be confused with a pork loin. Pork tenderloin is a slimmer cut and cut from a different part of the pig than a pork loin. They will have different cook times so if you’re going to use the recipe below, make sure you grab a pork tenderloin. There are other few differences in the two. If you like to know more, check out this article on pork tenderloin vs. pork loin.

How to Make Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin

First, prepare whatever marinade you are using for your pork tenderloin. I whisk together yellow mustard, brown sugar, italian seasoning, and rosemary. Set to the side.

Then, rinse and dry your pork tenderloin. Take a sharp knife and cut small slits into the top of your pork tenderloin. Stuff those slits with a little but of minced garlic.

Then cover your pork loin with that mustard marinade.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

When it’s time to get to cooking, remove the pork tenderloin and place it in a greased Air Fryer basket. Cook on 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 18-20 minutes, or until a quick read thermometer reads 145 degrees Fahrenheit. No need to even flip this tenderloin.

Remove the tenderloin and allow it to rest at least 5 minutes before slicing so the juices stay inside. Then slice and serve.

I hope you all enjoy this Mustard Glaze Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin as much as we do.

Pro Tips:

  • Use this mustard glaze on all cuts of pork. It’s simple yet amazing!
  • Invest in a quality quick read thermometer. I am in love with this Thermapen® Mk4 from Thermoworks. This one reads the temperature in less than 2 seconds. I use it for all my air frying and grilling.

This was great! I substituted stone ground mustard for the yellow and it still packed great flavor. I also must have missed the step where you marinade for a few hours. Mine marinaded for about 20 min. And still fine.

Mine was not cooked in 20 min. Meat thermometer didn't register. Cooked another 8 min, still could have been cooked more.

Hi NancyB, your tenderloin was likely either larger than mine, you live in a higher altitude so needed to cook it longer, or your air fryer doesn't run as hot as mine. I hope the tenderloin was to your liking once it was done.

I made this a few nights ago and I help my mom take care of my dad who has Alzheimer's, my mom said that was the best thing she has ever eaten. And since my dad got Alzheimer's, he would barely eat but he cleaned his plate. Even my picky husband loved it. Thank you for sharing. Tonight I'm making your pork chop dish... can't wait!

I added everything bagel seasoning to my mustard. Then used the ThermoWorks Chef Alarm and cooked to a perfect 145 in my Breville Smart Air Frier. Took about 17 minutes from a cold oven to done. I always add most of my meats to a cold oven. To me as it’s heating up it’s do a slow cook start for about 5 mins then when the oven gets to the 400 degrees for this recipe it’s almost like a reverse sear way of cooking.
Also another tip if your meat is frozen, you can still cook it straight from the freezer. It will take a little longer, but I’ve done this in a pinch if I forget to take the meat out. Just cook it a little lower in temperature and always use a thermometer. And you can still get that medium temperature your needing to hit for this cut. FYI (Frozen works even better for a steak cut to get your perfect medium rare and seared outside). Anyway great recipe!!

This was the second recipe I made in my air fryer, and it was fabulous! The only change I made was to slightly increase the ingredients, because I had two 1 lb. pork tenderloins to cook. They were perfectly cooked at 20 minutes. My husband, son, and I all loved it! This is definitely going into my regular meal rotation. Thank you!

@Nancy, did you cook both tenderloins at the same time in your air fryer? If so, how did you adjust the cook time?

Why don’t you need to flip the meat?

The flow of air from the fan circles around the entire meat, so it doesn't really need to be flipped for even cooking. I did test this recipe both ways and there was no difference when flipped, so I don't do it anymore.

The pork tenderloin came out tasty, juicy, and delicious! The only thing I will do differently next time is to make my slits for the garlic down the vertical length of the tenderloin so that each slice has some of that yummy flavor. Awesome recipe!

I didn't have time to marinate the pork and this still turned out fabulous. I just trimmed the tenderloin (two 1 lb pieces), rubbed with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then rubbed with the marinade/glaze and put it directly in the preheated air fryer. It took 22 minutes to come to temp. Delicious!!

Wow! Oh, wow! This is SO good. I eat keto so I substituted Lakanto Golden monk fruit for the brown sugar. The pork was tender and juicy.

Thank you for putting this delicious recipe out for me to try.

P.S. I used my FoodSaver marinator and the marinating time was reduced to about 10 minutes.
